ABOUT THE HODLNOTS SELF-PACED FOUNDATIONAL TRADING COURSE

The original HODLNOTS Scalp Trading Course was created in 2019 to offer a unique approach to trading cryptocurrencies, on fast timeframes, for rapid profits. Over the years, the course continued to evolve with changing market trends, and since then has become more focused on the foundations of all types of trading, with scalping as the main emphasis. In addition to evolving with the changing markets, we found that not everyone has the time to attend our live course, so this self-paced course was developed.

The course is ideal for beginners, and experienced traders, looking to acquire a new skill set. The step-by-step video modules take you through all the indicators and concepts needed in order for you to trade safely, thus protecting your capital. While the focus is learning how to trade in minutes, you will also be able to apply the knowledge you gain to trade on higher time frame.

You will be able to watch the video modules in your own time, within a 3-month period, and then jump on the weekly live Zoom call, where experienced trainers will provide support and guidance to ensure you understand the course content, concepts and techniques.

You will learn how to use different trading exchanges and platforms, and how to understand the indicators and time frames to make quick, profitable scalp trades. Scalp trading can become your main style while waiting for your day or long-term trades to play out.

• This course is self-paced, meaning you can learn at a time that suits you.

• A weekly Zoom call with the HODLNOTS trainers allows you to ask any questions after watching each chapter or module. These calls are held at 12PM UTC every Tuesday and Thursday (depending on what module you are busy with).
• Access to a dedicated Telegram broadcast-only channel where pertinent information will be posted.
• The Den: Your course fee also includes 30-day access to the Den (our 24/7 global trading community), which you will enter while you are completing the course. 
• Your Den subscription also includes access to our BB Rider Bot Tips, which help traders identify running coins for potential trades.
• The Lodge: During your time in the Den, you will also receive 30-days access to our Lodge, where you will be able to make use of live training support, join additional weekly live training sessions, have the option to join the 3M Challenge to become a Black Bear Expert Trader, and gain access to our Certified Academy. These are critical to your understanding and continued learning—the perfect combination to start your trading career. Access to the Lodge and the BB Rider will continue as long as you have an active Den subscription.

THINGS TO CONSIDER:

• Time: You will have 3 months to complete the course. You will be expected to spend a reasonable amount of time in front of the computer, giving you the best opportunity to grasp the foundational elements and complete the course material. If you are unable complete the course in this time, or if you would like to continue to access the weekly live support calls, there is a monthly Top-Up subscription which allows you to do so.
• Participation: We highly encourage you to join the weekly live call to maximise learning opportunities. We have noticed that students, in our live course, who actively engage in the live calls by asking questions, have a better chance of grasping the concepts. This should be no different. This call will initially be held on Thursdays, noon UTC.
• Homework & Quizzes: At the end of most of the chapters, and also peppered in amongst the modules, are homework sections and/or quizzes. These are designed to help evaluate your understanding of the course material. You will be required to pass the quiz in each chapter before you are given access to any subsequent chapters.

REQUIREMENTS/RECOMMENDATIONS - You should:

• View the course on a laptop or desktop. Phone screens are too small to see the course material. However, using a second device or larger screen might be beneficial when following along with some of the practical course material.
• Understand how a computer mouse/trackpad works (left click/right click, scrolling, etc).
• Zoom is the delivery method for all live calls. You will need to be able to access Zoom via a link given to you.
• Have a Telegram account so that you can access the broadcast-only channel.
• Ensure that you have access to a stable internet connection.
• A Tradingview account. If you don't already have one, you can access it here: Tradingview - you can use the free version, but you will be limited on your indicators, and you will not be able to use the alerts without the minimum paid subscription.
